She hadn't noticed it at first but once she did she didn't know what it was. I took that as a good thing, the Ozeri doesn't look like your typical tower fan. Its very sleek and thin not to mention lightweight. It doesn't have any buttons or knobs just sleek touch panel type buttons and a remote the size of the palm of your hand that has a little shelf on the backside of the fan for storage. We have four children 7 and under and it was nice to find this fan safe for little fingers as well as convenient that the touch panel buttons were not as obvious to the kids so they weren't pushing buttons on it constantly. Living in Texas we luckily have air conditioning but with our summers, especially this years record setting summer we keep fans in many of the rooms. As soon as I received the fan, I first checked to see if there was any way that a small child could stick his finger into the blades. It looks far more safe than any of the fans I have owned previously. I love that the many options this fan has allows for compromise. It is narrow enough that if only one individual is warm, the fan can be on without making the rest of the group uncomfortably cold. However, it also oscillates so widely that it can cool a room, if need be. Owning a fan is a necessity in Southern California, if a person wants to fall asleep at night. But, the problem is, at some point the night air becomes cool and one has to get up in the middle of the night to turn the fan off. This fan solves that problem. It has a sleep setting that automatically lowers the intensity every half hour until it is set to its lowest setting. Plus, the fan is very quiet. The appearance is very neat and some of my friends even thought it was a speaker case. Very nice and decorative and not bulky or in the way. One of the first things you notice about the fan are the 3 fans that sit so nicely in a tall black case. You can use one, two or all three of the fans at the same time. Very very quiet and the oscillating is great.. it turns a larger distance than most other oscillating fans. The remote is great and I can lie in my bed and operate my fan in the next room. Such a great item! I recommend it highly.. you will not be disappointed!! |
