However it is noisier than the average fan. On the high setting it is quite noisy, to the point of where you have to raise your voice to carry on a conversation. On low it is still noisier than you would expect it to be, too noisy to be used in the bedroom to sleep unless you want some white noise to drown out street noises. It is by far the noisiest--so loud that it's completely unsuitable for use in an office if you want to be able to hear people on the phone (or hear yourself think). It also is inferior in the amount of air it pushes around. The Duracraft is much smaller, quieter, and pushes just as much air.
