I had looked up quite a few fans before deciding on this one. On the highest setting, it isnt super quiet, but its not that loud either. Other than that, it does the job, and feels good

TOWER FANS VS. FANS IN GENERAL ,

Good fan, my opinion. Better than box fans, which I have been using for some years. Looks better, more acceptable in the room (looks good, takes up little space), works quieter, and I have four in different rooms of my house including the bedrooms. Only negative might be that I can't figure out how to completely clean the blades.

This is a great fan, read the other reviews and agree that it performs great and is reasonably quiet. Also this does come with a remote!
